Zombie Pizza, founded in May 2022, is a family-owned pizzeria in Richmond’s Forest Hill neighborhood. Owner Hamed Kalifa, a Libyan native with prior restaurant experience in Minnesota, spent over three years turning a former tire shop into this unique spot.
The name "Zombie Pizza" was inspired by Kalifa's teenage son's fascination with zombies. The pizzeria offers New York-style slices with a Mediterranean twist, reflecting Kalifa's heritage and commitment to quality.
